ACROSS THE STREET

Kind of like "home sweet home".  From the Paula Frizbe workshop using one of her great references.   Paula taught us to pre mix the major values- ground, upright planes, slanted planes, sky , and ground.   So I'm incorporating that into the way I use warm against cool within the value of the major shapes.   It will make me evaluate all my references and plein air work.

    It's interesting to hear about your learning in this new class, Robin; I too have begun studying with an excellent painter who is "stretching" class members in wonderful ways. I also loved your post about the class you teach and seeing your painting of boots from that class--fantastic!
