A PLEASANT PATH
Sometimes an outdoor painter starts painting one scene, then turns around and WOw! the view in the opposite direction is just as great. In this case, a friend pointed out this path that seemed ordinary at first. Suddenly its' charm became aparent- delicate flowers - an old path that begs to be investigated - and sunlight and shadow making a pleasant journey.. Simple is good.

Great composition. But great application as well. I love the variety of pieces of paint in the close-up.

Painting Your Vision Workshop No matter what level is current in your oil painting, its time to step up to the next level. This workshop is designed to add interest in texture and design, emphasize brushwork and edges, and explore new additions to paint techniques. We do this by using traditional methods of direct or alla prima painting, which simply means all we can accomplish in a session using rich paint to make sophisticated edges.
