It really didn't take this long to finish "Shady Place". During this cold snowy spell I've been hibernating, watching art videos and otherwise doing the errands that early January requires. This looks quite different from the hazy start, doesn't it? For some studio paintings I can visualize the outcome I desire until the ending - then the fun of adding color begins.
