SHOEHORN

"Shoehorn" is how it seems wanting to paint during the holidays. Since events keep me from the easel I'm working on this one in fits and starts.  This scene that enchanted me back in November when the weather was so nice.  6:30 am, steam lifting on a sunny morning with a dusting of frost here and there, steamy breath coming from the horses.   To come: more body parts, like a tail, and another group of horses on the left, and more complete trees, and that morning glow around the horses........
