Down From the Mountains should be the title here. On a visit to the Taos area we were stopped on the highway while a cattle drive finished its run down from the summer mountains to the lower farm pastures. It was October, and to us southerners it was chilly on a beautiful sunny day. Beautiful sage colors and brilliant yellow weeds were everywhere. Look for more in this series from the cattle drive......I'd like for someone to help me find the cattle company - this was on the "Enchanted Circle" north of Taos - has anybody heard of "Lazy Pony" ranch?
