A HOT WEEK IN NASHVILLE

paintings from a recent workshop near Franklin and Nashville Tn.  I call these "flying by the seat of my pants" style.  Painting on location is a struggle and a rush at the same time.  You can easlily see a wide range of success in these - some ok, some not so ok.

  1. Hey Robin! So fun meeting and painting with you! Your work is all beautiful and so inspiring to me!

  2. The fresh, looseness of the style shines through in all of them. In my opinion, you may call each of them a success. I'm glad you shared them.

  4. These pieces are a delight to see, Robin--well done! I admire your fresh, bold approach. There is much for me to learn here, as all my work is in the studio. I should push myself to try quick studies on location, too.
