Rocket Ready

One of the many fun things about Lexington Ky is the racing season at Keenland in April and October.  "Rocket Ready" is going to Thoroughbred Antiques in Lexington with a few more horse and racing themes.   This jockey has a grip for "just -in -case " events.

    This is a fascinating painting, Robin--a creative choice of subject (your cropping is very cool) and lively colors. The composition is so perfect that it could work as a lovely abstract if the original subject were obscured. I have enjoyed browsing a number of your recent posts and especially love "Violet Morning", which is a delightful contrast to this one in its masterful, quiet palette.
